The Closet Turned Pantry

I knew the closet under our stair case could be put to good use.  So Babe got busy and built some shelves.  Amazing shelves, none the less.  Everything he builds turns out perfect, thats why he builds and I cheer him on.  I love my new pantry so much that I'm thinking I will add to his list a shallower shelf on the opposite side of the closet.  This one will only be deep enough to hold quart sized jars of home made canned delights, aka his favorite salsa.

Thanks to my good friend Kristi who gave us the idea!

Getting Crafty for Fall

I love fall colors, who doesn't?  I grabbed a bunch of flowers from Michael's and literally just shoved them into this cute pitcher, also from Michael's.  And there you have it, a beautiful fall center piece.

This was even easier.  I topped this mirror with a fall garland.  It added just the colors and warm feel  I needed to welcome those brisk days of fall.  Only problem is, here in California we are being blessed with warm 90 degree weather.  Gotta love that sunshine while it lasts.

Cheep Talk Card

My adorable 2nd son, made this wallet and is selling it to a kid at school, for $5 dollars. Both of my boys are totally into making Duck Tape things. Their new fav place to buy Duck Tape is Michaels, because we can print out a coupon. Any way, #2 asked me if I wanted to put a pic of his wallet on line, how sweet.
This is the outside.
Here is the challenge I did tonight. It was a layout challenge, and I'm still figuring this out so the layout is at the top of this post.

I used SU Rockability paper and the cute little birds form Cheep Talk. The birds are embossed in black ep. The old olive paper is also embossed, but it came that way.

New Cards #3

Some more card from challenges.

New Cards #2

This little bird house is made from the milk carton
die from Stamin' Up!
In this challenge I needed to use a border ( the scallop)
and some ribbon.
This was a challenge to use orange. Not my color.
Another lay out challenge.
This was a color challenge. The colors were Perfect
Plum, Pale Plum, and Soft Suede.

New cards

This one is a lay out challenge, and a little busier than
I usually do, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
We did this at stamp night. It's so easy, it's just one
piece of paper, scored and stamped to look like a layer.
I love polka dots.
This challenge was for a clean and simple card.
Another simple card for a challenge.

So I've been doing a lot of challenges on splitcoaststampers.com . Here is a look at some of the cards I've made. It's way to much fun to be in these challenges, I think I'm driving Troy crazy doing them every night.
